We're Leading the Runoff: Now Let's Finish the Job
Waller County, we did it, and then some.
On March 3, you went to the polls and gave us a first-place finish in the Republican Primary for County Court at Law No. 1. We are heading into the runoff in the lead, and I couldn't be more grateful.
To everyone who voted, put up a yard sign, donated, knocked on a door, or simply told a friend. Thank you. This result is yours as much as it is mine.
But the work isn't finished. We have one more race to win before November.
The Runoff Election: May 26, 2026
The Republican Primary Runoff is Tuesday, May 26, 2026. This is the race that determines who will be the Republican nominee, and in Waller County, winning the Republican primary is the path to the bench.
Here are the key dates you need to know:
- Early Voting: May 18 through 22, 2026
- Voter Registration Deadline: April 27, 2026
- Mail Ballot Application Deadline (received, not postmarked): May 15, 2026
- Runoff Election Day: May 26, 2026
Why This Matters
County Court at Law No. 1 handles the cases that hit closest to home: child custody, family violence, criminal misdemeanors, civil disputes, and probate. These decisions affect Waller County families every single day.
I've spent my career in this courtroom. As Waller County's Assistant Criminal District Attorney, I've prosecuted over 3,000 cases, from felonies to family violence, in the very courtroom I'm seeking to lead. When I take the bench, there's no learning curve. I'm ready on day one.
How You Can Help
Runoff elections are decided by turnout. The candidates and campaigns that work hardest to get their voters to the polls win. Here's what you can do:
- Vote early: May 18 through 22 at any Waller County early voting location
- Bring a friend: talk to neighbors, family, and coworkers who share our values
- Put up a yard sign: visibility matters in a runoff
- Donate: runoff campaigns require resources, and every dollar helps
- Volunteer: we need boots on the ground in the final weeks
If you're not yet registered to vote, you must register by April 27. Visit the Voter Information page for registration links and polling location resources.
Thank You
This campaign has been built by the people of Waller County. From the very first yard sign to Election Night, you showed up. Now I'm asking you to show up one more time.
Let's finish the job. I'll see you at the polls.
