Meet Bennett: 5 Things to Know
If you're just learning about this campaign, here's a quick introduction.
1. I'm a Waller County prosecutor.
I serve as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Waller County. That means I represent the people of this county in court every day, prosecuting crimes, protecting victims, and seeking justice. I've personally handled over 3,000 cases.
2. I specialize in protecting kids and families.
A significant portion of my career has focused on prosecuting child abuse and domestic violence cases. These are some of the most difficult and important cases in our legal system, and they've shaped my commitment to putting children first.
3. I'm a conservative Republican.
I believe in applying the law as written, not legislating from the bench. I believe in limited government, individual liberty, and protecting constitutional rights. Those principles will guide every decision I make as judge.
4. I'm a homegrown Texas lawyer.
I earned my law degree from Baylor University School of Law, one of the top trial advocacy programs in the country, and my undergraduate degree from the University of Houston. I also gained experience at the Harris County DA's Office, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals before choosing to serve Waller County.
5. I'm asking for your vote on March 3, 2026.
I'll be in Position 3 on the Republican Primary ballot for County Court at Law No. 1. Early voting begins February 17. I'd be honored to earn your support.
